The members of Brons & Salas have helped establish the guidelines for the Argentine Antitrust Act. In addition, the Firm has counseled on a pro bono basis national authorities and chambers of commerce in the drafting process of antitrust regulations.
The Firm currently represents its clients before the Argentine Antitrust Commission as concerns anti-competitive conducts or practices and also advises foreign and local companies on the application of the reporting system for business combinations and the approval of these transactions.
The Antitrust Department works in coordination with the Mergers & Acquisitions team so as to establish strategies when negotiations commence and actively participate in the negotiation of the relevant contracts.
