Since the inception of mining practices in Argentina, Brons & Salas has played an active role rendering legal advice to leading mining companies as well as public agencies. It has also participated in the negotiation process of the Argentine-Chilean Mining Treaty.
The Firm has vast experience in exploration and exploitation of traditional metalliferous substances and of new commodities for industrial use.
Following the approval of the Federal Mining Agreement, Brons & Salas has participated in the implementation of association agreements for the development of new mining projects executed between private firms and state-owned companies.
Brons & Salas has experience in obtaining financing for mining projects and in furnishing such guarantees as are customary in the industry. It provides legal advice on all matters related to social acceptance, approval of environmental impact assessment studies and other necessary permits to explore and/or operate mines. Furthermore, it renders advice to companies engaged in the provision of services for the mining industry and the sale of mining supplies.
